My name is john I live in Florida I like to read books about people who are saved by Jesus I like to play games with my friends and I love Jesus! If you want to know what I think about your blog, please email me. Thank you for reading this post. (The introduction above was written by an 8-year-old). This blog post is all about how to make a blog using Microsoft Word. Blogs are really cool because they show pictures and pictures tell stories. First, what is a blog? A blog is a website that has posts. In Word, you can use the Publish to Blog button to upload your posts to a blog. Some people have really long blogs with lots of pictures and stories. Others have only one picture and no stories at all. In your blog, you can put up pictures that you took with a digital camera. And if you have a video camera, you could put up a video too! When people read your posts, they can click on the picture or the video to see it. If you have lots of pictures, then you can use the Picture Manager to organize them for your blog. Don't forget to add captions. If you have a video camera, you could add a description for the video too. If you want to make a blog with pictures and videos, then follow these steps:1. Open Microsoft Word. 2. On the ribbon, click New from the File menu. 3. In Word 2007 or older, click New from Template in Online Templates in the left corner of the Word window and then click Blog in the right-hand list of templates on the next pop-up menu. In Word 2010 or 2012 it's New from Template in Online Templates and then Click Blog in Word's right-hand list of templates on the next pop-up menu. 4. The template will open with a sample post. Edit the post as you like, adding your own content and formatting as needed. You can use Word's built-in formatting options or those found under the Home tab on the ribbon (see Using Themes, Fonts and Headers and Summing Up: Formatting in Word ). 5. When you're satisfied with your post, click File > Save, then select Blog from the Save As Type drop-down menu and click Save. 6. Now click Tools > Publish to Blog. cfa1e77820
